Electrical Definitions
|
Full Adder : A digital circuit that adds two binary digits and an
input carry to produce a sum and an output carry. |
Full Duplex : Simultaneous bidirectional transmission of data
on a transmission line. |
Fundamental Frequency : The frequency of the fundamental component
is called fundmental frequency. |
Fundamental Wavelength : The wavelength corresponding to the fundamental
frequency of the oscillations in a particular circuit, upon which harmonics may or may not be
superimposed. |
Fuse : A wire or strip of metal, mounted in suitable fittings,
designed to melt and to interrupt the circuit when a predetermined
maximum current is exceeded. |
Fuzzy Logic : A logic circuit in a video camera to evalute
the focus and lighting condition. |
Fused Coating : A metalic coating which has been melted and
solidified forming a metallurgical bond to base metal. |
Frequency response : The ability and quality of an amplifier circuit is studied by
plotting a curve between input frequency and output AC voltage. Such a curve is
called frequency response curve of an amplifier. |
